Amending a Licence – Adding a New Category
If a licensee wishes to increase the number of property services they are licensed to provide, they are required to do the following:
The appropriate application form for adding an additional category to your licence must be submitted through www.psralicences.ie.
An employee can only be licensed to provide the property services which their employer is currently licensed to provide. It is open to the Property Services Employer to also make an Add Category Business Application if they wish to be licensed for additional property services, however, a Principal Officer must meet the minimum qualification requirements for the additional licence type(s).
Where the application is successful the licensee should return their current licence to the Authority and a new licence (with the same licence number) will be issued. The new licence will include all of the licensed services the licensee is now authorised to provide. The new licence will expire one year after issue.
If the application is successful the property services which the licensee is licensed to provide will be updated on the Register of Licensed Property Services Providers.
